REFRESH THEATRE   FLOWER GIRLS

In this playful and enchanting walkabout act the Flower Girls maneuver their oversized flower around the streets / venue. Along their journey the cheeky but adorable duo communicate though whistles which convey their thoughts and feelings, from being happy with the perfect spot for a little sleep, to showing off their flower to passers by, and having silly mini spats with each other!

The girls spend their time transporting their 6 foot flower around the walkabout space though a variety of balances on their backs and heads, and when they get tired they get on lookers to help them, and turn momentarily into sergeant flower girls, enjoying bossing people around! They often stop to prune and water the flower, in which they find fun, and get the audience to spray the flower and one of the girls. In their tool belts, alongside their water sprays and carrots, they have a badminton net and rackets which they set up and competitively get an on looker to play against one of them whilst the other umpires. Amongst this commotion they like to show off a little by doing some acro-balance moves. The flower girls are very energetic and enthusiastic, but don’t be surprised if they suddenly fall asleep in the middle of the street on their flower, accompanied by a whistling snore!

Encouraging a belief in all things magical, the Flower Girls are a breath of fresh air for adults and children alike.
